Our vision is to revolutionize oral care. We aimed to use our extensive knowledge of holistic health and a whole body health perspective in taking care of the mouth, because it is all connected. We set out to create an all around sustainable product. Our packaging is compostable and our unique container is made of ceramic, which can go right back to the earth. Plus, it really elevates your oral care aesthetic, no more ugly tubes out on the counter and then straight to landfills. There is a better way to do oral care, it's Yin & Fang.
Dr. Whit Pharr
As a Board Certified Prosthodontist, I have worked on restoring teeth my entire career. Over the years you see patterns of health issues that lead to tooth decay and tooth loss. Interested in prevention and holistic health, and having a wife so focused in nutrition and health, inspired me to get certified as a Biological and Integrative Dentist and Naturopath so I could even better understand the root causes of oral health issues. Helping to create this oral care brand to revolutionize holistic oral care is something I stand behind as a lifelong dental provider. As someone that sees the worst of the worst dental issues, and also as someone that practices holistic health and understands the reverence that must be given to the oral and gut microbiome as major controllers of our overall health, this is what we use every day and believe in wholeheartedly for our tooth health. Making something that is good for our bodies and good for the planet, as a sustainable product, is our vision for changing the oral care space for the better.
Heather Pharr
As someone that struggled with chronic health issues from childhood, learning to find the root cause and address health issues holistically has been a passion of mine for many years now. Along the way I became a certified Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and a 500 hour certified yoga teacher and have been able to help others make these connections through lifestyle and food changes. I am passionate about the enormous importance of the oral and gut microbiome on our overall health, both mental and physical, and the myriad of ways our health can be helped or harmed by daily lifestyle choices. As I started examining all of our products in our home, our toothpaste became an area of concern. This was something we were using twice a day, and it had some of the worst ingredients. So, using what I know about the gut and the interconnectedness of overall health, we created the only toothpaste I trust for our family. We aim to revolutionize oral care for the better & share good health with everyone on earth!
